Course Description

This course covers the mandatory minimum requirements for the issue of a Certificate of Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats as specified in Regulation VI/2, Para 2, Section A-VI/2, Para 7-10 Table A-VI/2-2 of the STCW 1978 as amended.
On successful completion of this course, the participants will acquire the necessary knowledge, understanding and proficiency which include, but are not limited to, taking charge of a Fast Rescue Boat during and after launch and operate a Fast Rescue Boat engine.

Entry Requirements

Participants for this course shall:

• Have followed a Certificate of Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats other than Fast Rescue Boats
• Have a valid medical certificate issued in accordance with STCWReg. 1/9, Section A-1/9
