Course Description
This course covers the mandatory training requirements for the issue of a certificate of Refresher and Updating for Proficiency in Elementary First Aid as set out in Regulation VI/1 Section A-VI/1,Table A-VI/1-3 of the STCW 1978, as amended.
On successful completion of this course, the participants will acquire the necessary knowledge, understanding and proficiency to take immediate action upon encountering an accident or other medical emergency.
Entry Requirements
Participants for this course should :
- Have followed the four basic STCW safety courses in an approved Maritime Training Institute
