Course Description

Health psychology is a branch of applied psychology concerned with understanding biological, psychological, and social factors that are involved in physical health and prevention of illness. Health psychologists study the factors that allow people to be healthy, recover from an illness or cope with a chronic condition. Health psychologists help patients of all ages and with varying psychological or physical health issues respond to and manage the psychological aspects of their illness.
