Course Description

Bachelor of Music program offered by SLTC School of Music is a novel and unique degree program that explores music - the language of the universe. Created and conducted by Mr. Nadeeka Guruge, a veteran of the Sri Lankan music industry, this degree program transcends the typical music studies and covers the science and the anthropological cores of the study of music as well. Starting with an in-depth insight into music and exploring the deep connection between music and the mankind, SLTC Bachelor of Music program takes the undergraduate through a highly practical and insightful journey in World Music, Music and Technology, Western Classical and Non-Classical Music, Eastern Music, Analysis of Music, Composing, Performing Music and more; finally creating a wholesome quintessential musician that the world needs.
