Course Description

This course is designed for commercial cooks looking to work aboard commercial passenger cruise lines. Dynamic and versatile lectures coach a wide range of cookery skills and train you to use discretion, judgement and to always have a sound knowledge of kitchen operations aboard ships. Your job role would consist of mainly working together with your crew, under supervision and often provide assistance, operational advice, coaching and support to other team members.Food, drink and travel is always in demand, opening up a wide variety of opportunities on cruise ships. Serve some of the best cruise liners in the industry with high quality kitchens and alongside highly competent chefs and staff.Our courses provide you with the opportunity to embark on a limitless career with the 960-hour cookery course. After covering 600 compulsory hours full-time at Win-Stone School of Culinary Art and 360 hours of compulsory industrial training, you will achieve competency on all practical and theoretical key areas in cookery as well as other focus areas that help form a rounded yet professional grade cook.
