Course Description

On this one-year top-up degree, you will build on your previous studies. Develop advanced technical skills, learn to patent your designs and prepare a professional portfolio ready for industry. You’ll work real business briefs on this course – from the development of mobile apps to mission critical software. Computing problem solving and software engineering are the focus of this degree.

Entry Requirements

• Applicants with Level 5 qualifications (for example Higher National Diploma, ATHE Level 5 Diploma in Computing) from approved awarding bodies will be considered for transfer to the final stage of the BSc programme and earn their degree in one year. Applicants who have successfully completed 2 years of study at a University can be considered for direct entry with advanced standing. Other equivalent qualifications may be accepted for entry to this programme.
